Diary of a Project
Hello, this blog is about the highs and the lows of WEA North West’s latest project: VIEW: virtual inspirational educational world.
In August 2012, the Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) in the North West, received notification from NIACE that our bid submitted to the Skills Funding Agency’s Community Learning Innovation Fund (CLIF) had been successful. This means that over the next 11 months we can design and deliver wonderful online talks, lectures, and complete courses for adults to access at any time, anywhere in the world!

I have just completed my final piece and the `In Stiches `Group SHOW CASED their work before exhibiting at the Cornerhouse on the 2nd April .What stunning textile pieces produced by all the group -amazing . My `LISTENING THROUGH DYSLEXIC SOUND`
challenges the way we hear sound and tries to enlighten those who have good hearing to the chaotic sound waves that invade our heads, Deafness and Tinnitus can be isolating and embarrassing, but woking with such a sympathetic group has been a joy, thank you Dawn Howarth for the organising .
